Badger Activity Surveys

Infrared camera traps, sand traps and/or taped sticks are set up and activity checks are carried out for a minimum of three weeks.

These inspections aim to establish the level of activity, use, and type of sett.

Using this information, Midland Ecology will recommend a method statement to ensure that the works either avoid impacts on badgers altogether, or to mitigate such impacts to an acceptable level.
