Great Crested Newts and their habitats are protected by law.

At Midland Ecology, our licensed ecologists can guide you through the process from the Preliminary Habitat Assessment through any further Presence/Absence Surveys required. We’ll advise ways to avoid harming great crested newts and their habitats. Where this just isn’t possible, we can work with you to obtain a licence from Natural England and provide site supervision to implement it.
